A group of kids, known as the “Tremendous Twelve,” became heroes recently. They were on an Easter egg hunt in a field in Capel, Surrey, when they saw a police helicopter circling above. The kids, aged six to twelve, noticed a man running in the field and trying to hide by wrapping his jumper around his head.
The helicopter seemed to be going in the wrong direction despite the kids shouting at it. So, two of the kids came up with an idea: they formed themselves into an arrow shape on the ground to guide the helicopter towards the man.
After waiting in the mud for about a minute, the helicopter finally followed their human arrow and caught the fleeing suspect. The kids, along with their dog Molly, were really proud of what they did, and they shared their awesome experience with The Mail on Sunday.
