“Majestic Harpy Eagle”: Meet the world’s largest bird

This species is also considered endangered

Recently, a photo of a bird began circulating on social media, and many people initially thought it was someone in a peculiar costume.

However, it turns out that this bird is, in fact, the largest bird on Earth.

It is called the Harpy Eagle and is a formidable predator, capable of reaching a weight of 18.5 to 20 pounds.

Everyone was astonished by the sheer size of this bird. Sadly, the Harpy Eagle is currently endangered, largely due to deforestation.

There are only about 50,000 individuals of this species remaining worldwide. These majestic birds reside primarily in the Brazilian forests.

Let’s hope that they can continue to thrive and inhabit our planet for generations to come.
