Holiday Ruined: Nicole Kidman Receives Shocking News on Valentine’s Day

Nicole Kidman has always been open about how attached she is to her home, finding comfort and refuge from the chaos of Hollywood within its walls. Unfortunately, her sanctuary became the target of burglars on an unimaginable day—Valentine’s Day.

Thieves broke into Nicole’s Beverly Hills mansion while neither the actress, her husband Keith Urban, nor their two daughters were at home. The intruders smashed a window to gain entry. While the exact items stolen are still unknown, it appears the burglars were startled by one of the household staff members who returned unexpectedly, preventing them from taking much. Nonetheless, the news devastated Kidman, leaving her feeling as though her family’s haven had been violated.

The nearly 4,000-square-foot mansion, purchased by Nicole and Keith in 2008 for $4.7 million, features five bathrooms, five bedrooms, and an outdoor pool. As Nicole once shared, after long days on set or attending events, she cherishes returning home to unwind—removing her elegant dress and feeling truly “herself” in her own space. It’s a place where she can relax with her family—her beloved husband and their daughters, 16-year-old Sunday and 14-year-old Faith.

As for the couple’s absence when the break-in occurred, Keith was performing in Las Vegas that night, and Nicole and the girls went to support him. They had planned to celebrate Valentine’s Day afterward. Everything was going according to plan until the heartbreaking news reached them. The police have yet to apprehend any suspects, and the investigation is still ongoing.
