It’s very obvious now that Adam Brody’s acting abilities aren’t what made his Nobody Wants This first kiss scene so amazing.
After winning his prize, the 44-year-old, who won Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance in the popular Netflix romantic comedy Nobody Wants This, kissed his wife, Leighton Meester, passionately.
The Hollywood Reporter shared a brief video of Brody kissing Meester and grabbing her by the waist before they give each other a tender embrace.
The heart-stopping moment was very similar to his well-known on-screen kiss with Kristen Bell in Nobody Wants This’s second episode.
Fans were ecstatic with their kiss, which was caught on camera when the two were seen embracing enthusiastically following Brody’s victory.
“I adore them!” And despite losing their house to the fires, it’s good to watch them have a moment of happiness. One user wrote, “Cheer each other up.”
Another said, “This type of love is what everyone wants.”
I adore this! What a wonderful, wholesome show! Fantastic! “Congratulations to him,” exclaimed another.
In the wildly popular series, which also features Kristen Bell, the heartthrob has returned.
He gave an emotional statement in which he declared his “love” for Meester and their family.
The couple was particularly moved by the victory because it came weeks after the terrible flames in Los Angeles destroyed their Pacific Palisades home.
After expressing gratitude to the Critics Choice Association for the recognition, Brody praised Netflix and the hardworking cast and crew of Nobody Wants This.
The O.C. hottie also hinted that the second season of the popular show’s filming will begin in “a few weeks.”
We would like to express our gratitude to the cast and crew. It was a tremendous pleasure for us to film this in Los Angeles. He turned to series creator Erin Foster after saying, “I can’t wait to run it back with you guys in a few weeks.”
Erin Foster is to be thanked. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate your amazing, one-of-a-kind voice. I appreciate you including me in your article.
And he hailed Kristen Bell, his on-screen love interest, for ‘believing’ in him.
I appreciate your talent. I appreciate your generosity. I appreciate your faith in me. Brody pointed to his trophy and said, “This is a Hanukkah present for you.”
“Thank you to my team of over 20 years,” he added. Melissa, Joe, and Kevin. There they are. Perhaps they stand in for you.
Brody then broke down in tears as he honored Meester, who appeared incredibly happy of his achievement and was fighting to contain her tears in front of the audience.
“My sweet, sweet wife.” Thank you. I appreciate you sharing this trip and this life with me. We are grateful for our family. With all my heart, I love you. “Thank you so much,” said the actor.
When Brody made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in October, he talked candidly about his passionate kiss with Bell, a close friend in real life, which enraged people on the internet.
However, he admitted that because he was pals with his close friend, kissing him on television was not quite as weird.
As odd as that may sound, Brody said, “I think it’s less strange because we know each other.”
“I believe there is some familiarity and trust there,” Brody continued.
