Elizabeth II’s granddaughter, Princess Beatrice, has given birth to a baby weighing 2kg prematurely, the Daily Star reports.
Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi have become parents for the second time. The couple had a girl, who was named after the goddess – Athena Elizabeth Rose.

“Last week, baby Athena came into our lives. She is tiny and absolutely perfect. We are all already crazy about her. Our hearts are overflowing with love for you, baby Athena. My wife and I would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the wonderful staff at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for their exceptional care and support at this incredibly special time,” Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi wrote on his personal blog.

According to the publication’s insider, Princess Beatrice gave birth to a baby weighing only 2 kg. The birth was much earlier than expected.
