Oprah Winfrey looked amazing at the premiere of ‘The Color Purple’ in Los Angeles on Wednesday. She talked about her recent weight loss, saying it’s not just one thing but a combination of efforts. The 69-year-old media mogul shared that she’s committed to maintaining her new look and mentioned working out on a treadmill.

Oprah, who produced the upcoming movie musical and played Sofia in the original 1985 film, discussed her weight loss journey during a panel in September. She revealed her highest weight was 237 lbs and how people treated her differently when she was over 200 lbs, especially while clothes shopping.

The actress and philanthropist has been transparent about using WeightWatchers to lose weight, mentioning her long-term commitment to the program. She emphasized facing stigma and condescension due to her weight but expressed determination to continue her fitness journey.

The new film, based on Alice Walker’s novel, is set to release on Dec. 25, and Oprah looked stunning on the red carpet, showcasing her purple gown, matching accessories, and curly hairstyle.
