American actor Chris Evans, who gained worldwide fame for his role as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has tied the knot. The lucky lady who captured the heart of Hollywood’s sex symbol is 26-year-old Portuguese actress Alba Baptista.

The modest and intimate ceremony took place on Saturday at the couple’s estate in the Boston area, Massachusetts, USA. According to insiders, the wedding was kept highly secretive, with guests signing non-disclosure agreements and being required to surrender their phones during the event.
For their wedding, 42-year-old Evans and his young bride invited their closest family and friends. Additionally, some of Evans’ colleagues from the Marvel films attended, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner. Among the guests were also John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.
The actors of “The Avengers” and Alba first sparked rumors of their romance in November 2022 when a source told People magazine that the stars had been together for over a year.
“They are in love, and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends adore her,” an insider stated at the time.

From 2001 to 2006, Evans dated actress Jessica Biel. In 2007, Chris had a brief romance with actress Minka Kelly, with whom he reunited in September 2012. They split up a year later.
From June 2016 to early 2017, Evans was in a relationship with actress Jenny Slate. The couple reconciled at the end of 2017 but confirmed their split in March 2018. Prior to marrying Alba, Chris had never been in an official marriage and does not have any children.
