Angela Bassett and her husband Courtney B. Vance are feeling sad because their twins, Slater and Bronwyn, are getting ready to go to college.
They’ve been doing college tours to decide where to go. Angela said she might need therapy to help with the transition. They celebrated their twins’ 18th birthday in January and are proud of the young adults they’re becoming.
Their friends are giving them advice, like going on vacation after dropping off the kids at college. Courtney said parenting is about preparing your kids to be independent. Angela tries not to worry too much and focuses on praying instead.
