Celine Dion hasn’t shown interest in finding a new partner since her husband, René Angélil, passed away from throat cancer nearly seven years ago. They were married for 21 years and had three children together.
After René died, Celine understandably felt very sad and still feels that way today. She says she feels René’s presence in their lives every day, especially when she looks at their children.
Celine first met René when she was 12 years old. Her parents sent a tape of her singing to René, who liked her voice and helped her start her career. They got closer over time and eventually fell in love.
René believed in Celine’s talent so much that he used his own money to fund her first album. They got married in 1994 and renewed their vows in 2000. They had three children together: their first son, René-Charles, in 2001, and twin boys, Eddy and Nelson, in 2010.
Celine loves being a mother and says it’s the most important thing to her. She also cherished being René’s wife, and his passing was very hard for her.
Despite her fame, Celine hasn’t started dating anyone else since René died. When asked about dating, she said she’s focused on her kids and life right now. She’s not sure if she’ll ever fall in love again.
We all hope Celine is doing well and finding happiness. Losing someone you love is incredibly hard, especially losing a partner.
