Why Pink Refuses to Let Her Daughter Use a Cell Phone: A Wise Decision

Singer Pink is a cool mom who doesn’t let her kids spend too much time on their phones. She has two kids with her husband Carey Hart: Willow, born in 2011, and Jameson, born in 2016.

In 2022, Pink said in an interview that she doesn’t allow her 10-year-old daughter, Willow, to have a phone. She thinks there are good and bad things about technology, but for kids, she’s not ready for it yet. Pink believes in attachment parenting, which means being really close to your child.

Pink and Willow even sang a song together called “Cover Me in Sunshine” in 2021. They like spending time together without using phones.

Pink remembers her own childhood without phones as a time when she played outside a lot with her brother. She wants her kids to feel loved and safe, like she did growing up.

She’s also made bedtime stories for an app called Calm Kids. Her son Jameson enjoys listening to her stories.

Other famous parents like Penelope Cruz and Mark Cuban also limit their kids’ phone use. It’s important to think about the good and bad sides of giving kids phones. While phones can help kids stay safe, they can also cause problems like bullying and bad mental health. If you do decide to give your child a phone, experts suggest getting one with limited features.
