Judy Sheindlin, also known as Judge Judy, has been on TV for almost 25 years. Her show is watched by millions every day. She was even named the highest-paid daytime TV host by Forbes Magazine in 2018.
Judy Sheindlin’s personal life isn’t well-known, but her marriage to her second husband Jerry has had its ups and downs.
They met in a bar when Jerry defended a case Judy was involved in. They clicked right away and got married in 1977. Jerry had kids from a previous marriage, and Judy became their stepmom.
However, they divorced in 1990 after Judy’s dad passed away. She was struggling emotionally and blamed Jerry for not being there enough. But they couldn’t stay away from each other for long and remarried later.
They’ve been together for over 45 years now, living in Florida with their dogs. They have a big family with children and grandchildren.
Their kids followed in their legal footsteps. Adam, Judy’s son from her first marriage, works as a district attorney. Jerry’s kids, Gregory and Nicole, are lawyers too.
Judy loves spoiling her grandkids but admits she’s not the typical grandma who cooks every Sunday. She’s busy with work but officiated her grandson’s wedding and got emotional.
Despite being wealthy, Judy and Jerry prioritize their family, showing that success doesn’t have to come at the expense of love and togetherness.
