“Kate Jackson’s Pursuit of Motherhood”: Adopting a Child and Embracing Normalcy

Kate Jackson was a famous actress on TV for a long time. She started acting in 1966 and got a big break in “Charlie’s Angels” in 1976. She also acted in shows like “Scarecrow and Mrs. King” and “The Rookies.”

She even owned her own production studio called Shoot the Moon Enterprises.

But later, she felt like acting wasn’t making her happy. She left “Charlie’s Angels” because she was tired of it.

She got married a few times. Her first marriage was short, and her second ended because of distance. Her third marriage also didn’t last long.

Kate wanted to have a child but couldn’t because of cancer. She had cancer twice but got better after treatment. She didn’t know how to cook or clean because others did it for her. But she learned when she had to do it herself.

She adopted a baby boy after meeting Rosie O’Donnell and seeing her adopted child. She quit acting to take care of her son full-time. When he got older, she tried to act again but couldn’t find many roles because she was older.

Her last acting role was in 2007 on “Criminal Minds.”
