Blue Bloods Renewed for Season 14 After Cast Accepts Pay Reduction

Blue Bloods is a really popular TV show about a family in New York who all work in law enforcement. It’s been on since 2010 and people love it.

The main actors, like Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, and Bridget Moynahan, have helped make the show a hit.

The good news is that the show will be back for a 14th season. But, the actors had to agree to get paid less money to keep it going.

CBS, the network that airs the show, says they’re happy to have it back. They think Tom Selleck and the rest of the cast are doing a great job.

It’s not common for actors to take a pay cut like this, but they did it so that everyone who works on the show can keep their jobs for another season.

Even though the actors will make less money, Blue Bloods is still one of the most-watched shows on Fridays. A lot of people watch it on the streaming service Paramount+ too.

Tom Selleck, who plays the main character, says he thinks the show can keep going for a long time. He really likes working on it and says the cast are all good friends.

There were some rumors that Tom Selleck might leave the show, but he’s committed to staying for now. He says he enjoys working with the other actors and they have fun together.

So, even though the actors had to take a pay cut, fans are happy Blue Bloods is coming back for another season!
