1. Italian Actress Ilene Carisi
In 1994, while traveling in Central America, Ilene disappeared under mysterious circumstances near New Orleans. During the investigation, a local guard claimed to have seen a girl resembling her jump into the Mississippi River. However, coast guard searches found no traces of her body. Some argued that she was alive, but in 2014, at her father’s request, the actress was declared dead.
2. Fan Bingbing, Chinese Actress
Chinese actress Fan Bingbing gained global fame after her role in “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” After July 1, 2018, she suddenly disappeared, ceasing to appear on social media. Media made no comments on her whereabouts. It turned out that the Chinese government discovered she was evading taxes. Only after several months, the actress unexpectedly reappeared, publishing a public letter expressing remorse and asking for forgiveness.
3. Actor Sean Flynn
Sean Flynn, son of the once-famous Hollywood actor Errol Flynn, attempted an acting career with limited success. During the Vietnam War, he worked as a photojournalist and disappeared suddenly in 1970 in Cambodia with journalist Dana Stone. It is widely believed that they were captured by the Viet Cong and later killed by the Khmer Rouge, the Cambodian communist organization.

5. Musician Richie Edwards
Richie Edwards, punk musician and guitarist for the Manic Street Preachers, gained fame in 1991 after a dispute with a journalist who questioned his band’s authenticity. 6. Basketball Player Rico Harris
In 2000, aspiring Harlem Globetrotters basketball player Rico Harris developed issues with alcohol. One evening, he was driving to see his girlfriend in Seattle but never arrived. His abandoned car was found near Sacramento, with his wallet and credit cards inside. Harris’s fate remains a mystery, as he has never been found.
7. British Lord Lucan
In 1974, British Lord Lucan, who had once aspired to play James Bond, became involved in a criminal situation. After a divorce, he attempted to murder his wife but mistakenly attacked the nanny, Sandra Rivett, fatally injuring her. Afterward, Lucan disappeared, sparking numerous speculations about his fate.
8. Bison Dele (Brian Williams)
After concluding his basketball career, American player Bison Dele (Brian Williams) led an eccentric lifestyle and set out to explore the world in Asia. He went missing at the age of 33: his yacht, Hakuna Matata, intended to sail from Tahiti to Hawaii, disappeared. His brother, Miles Dabord, was considered the main suspect in the incident and Bison Dele’s alleged murder. Miles sailed on the yacht with his brother and his brother’s girlfriend, but he was seen several times in Tahiti after the incident. The police speculated that the brother killed both Bison Dele and his girlfriend, as well as the skipper, to access his brother’s money. In 2002, Miles Dabord committed suicide by taking a lethal dose of insulin.
9. Writer and Aviation Pioneer Amelia Earhart
Amelia Earhart, the first female pilot and American writer, disappeared in 1937 during an attempt to circumnavigate the globe. The mystery of her disappearance remains unsolved. Her plane landed on one of the islands in the Pacific Ocean, but the U.S. military, without conducting an investigation, considered it a hoax. There are theories that she might have been taken prisoner by the Japanese or survived for several months on an uninhabited island.
10. Director Daniel Lind Lagerlöf

15. Boxer Jim Robinson

17. Shad Gaspard

18. Disappearance of Azaria Chamberlain
