Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Coping with Divorce, Draws Inspiration from Parents’ Resilience

In 2021, it became known about the divorce of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West after 7 years of marriage. The star did not hide that her decision to divorce was influenced by her husband’s unconventional behavior and character. Insiders also shared that the rapper refused to seek treatment for bipolar disorder, which Kim did not approve of. Recently, the celebrity revealed what helped her get through the separation and move on. She admitted that her parents’ divorce made her look at her own situation in a positive light:

“I thought about how my parents dealt with it together with us. I just remember that they were open.”

Kim Kardashian noted that she focused on the happiness of the four children she raises with Kanye West:

“In the end, it’s important for the children to feel loved and heard. You have to make sure you only go to the level they can understand. It’s okay to show vulnerability. You never cross over to the negative side.”

Kris Jenner divorced Robert Kardashian in 1991 after 13 years of marriage and the birth of four children. Recently, she admitted on the show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” that she regretted the divorce for some time:

“When I got divorced, Robert and I became best friends. We talked on the phone all day, constantly helping each other. And I really regretted it. I thought, ‘What was I thinking?'”

Recall that at the end of 2022, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian officially completed the divorce process. In early 2023, it became known about the rapper’s marriage to a new love interest. His chosen one is the model and former employee of West’s Yeezy fashion brand, Bianca Censori.
