The Duchess of Sussex, who has been living in California with her husband and children for several years now, reminisced about the TV series “Suits.” She had acted in it before her marriage to the younger son of King Charles III.
Meghan Markle’s Acting Past
The 42-year-old Duchess of Sussex made these remarks at a recent Power of Women event in Los Angeles. She expressed her appreciation for the fact that the show continues to break records on streaming platforms four years after its conclusion.
“Isn’t that wild? It was such a great job, with such a wonderful cast and crew. We had a lot of fun. I worked on it for seven seasons, which is just a little bit. But today, it’s hard to find a show that you could continuously binge-watch for that many episodes, so maybe there’s something to that. But good shows are timeless,” Meghan stated.
The series, in which Markle played the role of paralegal Rachel Zane, set a record last month for the number of weeks at the top, surpassing “Ozark.” It also accumulated over 45 billion streaming minutes on Netflix and Peacock.
Markle was part of the show from 2011 to 2018 and left before marrying Prince Harry.
