Amber Heard refused to acknowledge her guilt.
Johnny Depp has pledged to donate his profits to charitable organizations. According to the report, the funds will be evenly distributed among five distinct organizations, each receiving $200,000, as reported by Mignews, citing TMZ.
The actor will make donations to the following nonprofit organizations: Make-A-Film Foundation, The Painted Turtle, Red Feather, Tetiaroa Society, and Amazonia Fund Alliance.
The Make-A-Film Foundation fulfills the wishes of children connected to the film industry, such as actors and directors. Johnny has previously collaborated with them on a short film.
Contributions to two other entities, The Painted Turtle and Tetiaroa Society, will serve as a tribute to Johnny’s idols, Paul Newman and Marlon Brando. Each played a significant role in establishing and contributing to the success of these charity organizations over the years. With these donations, Depp intends to “carry on their legacy.”
Red Feather and Amazonia work to preserve the culture and heritage of indigenous communities in America. The organizations allocate funds for housing and shelters for individuals, as well as large-scale infrastructure projects to protect villages.

Almost immediately, Depp’s lawyers filed an appeal for a reexamination of the case, believing that it was conducted with multiple irregularities. However, the court rejected the actress and her lawyers’ request for $10 million. Later, Depp and Heard reached a settlement of $1 million.
